Lucknow, Feb. 11 -- The Uttar Pradesh government presented a tax-free budget of Rs 9,12,696 crore for the financial year 2026-2027 in the state assembly on Wednesday.
In his budget speech, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said this budget reflects the government's commitment to the state's holistic, balanced, and infrastructure-led development.
The Finance Minister said Uttar Pradesh has secured first place among the country's landlocked states in the Export Preparedness Index-2024, released by NITI Aayog in January 2026, which is a testament to the state's export potential and industrial progress.
