Lucknow, Feb. 13 -- Leader of the Opposition in the Uttar Pradesh assembly and Samajwadi Party leader Mata Prasad Pandey has attacked the state government on several key issues, raising serious questions about corruption, law and order, encounter policy, and employment.
Participating in the debate on the motion of Thanks on the Governor's address on Friday, Pandey said, "There was no substantive discussion on the crucial issue of corruption in the House, while the general public is most troubled by it."He highlighted pending investigations against IAS officers with the Lokayukta and noted that complaints against several officers and others had not been transparently addressed in the Assembly.
