Lucknow, Sept. 10 -- In light of the evolving and sensitive situation in Nepal, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the state police to remain on high alert along the Indo-Nepal border.
Acting on these instructions, Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Krishna has ordered round-the-clock heightened vigilance in all border districts adjoining Nepal.
To further strengthen security in these regions, additional police forces have been deployed and patrolling as well as surveillance activities have been intensified to ensure swift response to any potential emergency.
