Lucknow, Nov. 18 -- Uttar Pradesh Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Excise and Prohibition Nitin Agarwal on Monday launched the "UP Excise Citizen App", which consumers can use to get information on the liquor they purchase.
On this occasion, the minister stated that the Excise Department is committed to ensuring the sale of standard liquor/beer through country liquor shops, composite shops, model shops, premium retail vends, and bar licensees.
"The accessible 'UP Excise Citizen App' has been developed, demonstrating complete transparency for liquor/beer consumers. This app is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Any citizen/consumer can download it on their mobile phone," he said in a statement here.
