Aligarh, Jan. 28 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has intensified its campaign against illegal properties and encroachment on government land. After Sambhal, a major joint action has now been carried out in Aligarh by the district administration and the Aligarh Development Authority (ADA).

On Wednesday, an illegally constructed cemetery on government land located in a lane near Govila Gas Agency was demolished using bulldozers. The action took place at Kishanpur, where encroachment had been made on the highly valuable government land recorded as Gata Number-22.
