Lucknow, March 25 -- With the objective of preserving, promoting, and ensuring the widespread dissemination of Uttar Pradesh's rich folk and tribal culture, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Wednesday.
This agreement was concluded between the Uttar Pradesh Institute of Folk and Tribal Culture, Lucknow, and Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut.
The MoU, signed at the residence of the state's Tourism Minister, Jaiveer Singh, was executed by Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (Meerut), and Atul Dwivedi, Director of the Uttar Pradesh Institute of Folk and Tribal Culture (Lucknow).
