Lucknow, May 5 -- The 100-day 'TB Free India Campaign' being conducted in Uttar Pradesh has achieved significant and impressive progress in its 42 days, laying a strong foundation for TB elimination.
Through large-scale screening, testing, treatment, and public awareness activities, the campaign is steadily gaining momentum and expanding access to health services at the grassroots level.
Reviewing the campaign, Additional Chief Secretary, Medical Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education, Amit Kumar Ghosh, on Tuesday, stated that UP is rapidly progressing towards realizing the Prime Minister's resolve of a "TB-free India," and the results so far are extremely encouraging.
