Lucknow, July 12 -- The rural eastern Uttar Pradesh has witnessed a transformative shift through the Jal Jeevan Mission, ensuring access to clean drinking water. A joint study by international voluntary organization WaterAid India and the Geography Department of Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University across three districts - Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, and Maharajganj - confirms the mission's deep impact on public health, education, livelihoods, and social cohesion.
