Lucknow, March 4 -- The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday transferred eight officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS), an official spokesman said here.
The spokesperson said that Joint Commissioner of Police in Varanasi Police Commissionerate Dr K Ejilearassane has been posted as Inspector General of Police (IG) of UP 112, while DIG ATS Lucknow Manoj Kumar Sonkar has been transferred to PAC Varanasi in the same capacity.
He said that Superintendent of Police (SP) Vigilance Establishment Lucknow Shagun Gautam has been sent to the post of APTC in the same capacity. DCP Kanpur Police Commissionerate Rajesh Kumar Singh has been posted as JCP Varanasi Police Commissionerate.
