Lucknow, April 15 -- In a major reshuffle the Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday transferred 16 more Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including six District Magistrates (DMs), an official spokesman said here.
The spokesman said that DM Ayodhya Chandra Vijay Singh has been transferred as Special Secretary Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department. DM Chandauli Nikhil Teekaram Funde has been posted in place of Singh.
Municipal Commissioner, Prayagraj Chandra Mohan Garg has been posted as new DM of Chandauli. Chief Development Officer (CDO) Jaunpur Seelam Sai Teja has been shifted as Municipal Commissioner Prayagraj.
