Lucknow, April 19 -- To boost tourism across Uttar Pradesh, the Department of Tourism has announced the development of tourism infrastructure worth more than Rs 14 crore in the Amethi district.
The funds will be used to upgrade and enhance various sites of religious, cultural and historical importance, making them more accessible and appealing to both domestic and international tourists.
Tourism and Culture Minister of UP, Jaiveer Singh, said that Amethi holds a special place in the state's Sufi heritage and history.
