Lucknow, April 22 -- Ahead of the monsoon, the Uttar Pradesh government has launched a statewide campaign to upgrade urban drainage systems, official sources said here on Tuesday.
Sources said that acting on Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's directives, the Urban Development Department has launched the drive, aiming to prevent the severe water logging that plagued cities in past years.
