Lucknow, April 16 -- In a bid to empower working women, the Uttar Pradesh government has planned to construct modern hostels in Lucknow, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Ghaziabad, official sources said here on Wednesday.
Sources said that spearheaded by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the initiative seeks to provide safe, accessible, and affordable accommodation for women in the workforce. "The project is a significant step toward ensuring women's safety and promoting self-reliance, marking a major stride in the state's ongoing efforts toward women empowerment," they said.
