Lucknow, May 2 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has set an ambitious target of tripling the exports from the state by 2030, with agriculture expected to play a pivotal role in achieving this goal, official sources said here on Friday.

Sources said the national export data supports this vision, showing a steady rise in the export of agricultural and food products since the Covid pandemic.

"In 2024-25, the sector recorded a growth rate of approximately 10 percent compared to the previous financial year, with many fruits and vegetables gaining access to new international markets," they said.
