Lucknow, Feb. 20 -- The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday presented a budget of Rs 8,08,736.06 crore in the Uttar Legislative Assembly for the financial year 2025-26, which is the biggest budget size presented so far.
While placing the budget proposals on the table of the House, Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said that the size of budget is Rs 8,08,736.06 crore, which is 9.8 percent higher as compared to the last budget for the fiscal year 2024-2025. "The capital outlay in the budget is about 20.5 percent of the total budget," he said.
