Lucknow, Feb. 20 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a hike in the salary of Shiksha Mitras from Rs 10,000 per month to Rs 18000 per monthAnnouncing this in the state assembly on Friday while replying on the budget discussion, he said the order will be implemented from April 1.
"The Samajwadi Party used to give Rs 3,000 to Shiksha Mitras and instructors. We increased it to Rs 10,000 and now, starting April, they will receive Rs 18,000. Similarly, instructors will receive Rs 17,000 per month. We are going to make arrangements for immediate payment," he said.
