Lucknow, Sept. 17 -- The Uttar Pradesh government today transferred seven Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, impacting key law enforcement positions across the state.
Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Dev Ranjan Verma has been transferred to the Training Directorate in Lucknow. SDRF Commandant Dr. Satish Kumar, who was stationed in Lucknow, has been attached to the Police Headquarters.
Abhijeet Kumar, the Additional Police Commissioner of Prayagraj, has been appointed as the Additional Superintendent of Police in Meerut. Meanwhile, Atul Kumar Srivastava, who was serving as Additional Superintendent of Police in Rampur, has been assigned the role of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Kanpur.
