Lucknow, Sept. 2 -- Uttar Pradesh Tourism & Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh today reviewed preparations for the upcoming Deepotsav 2025 in Ayodhya and Dev Deepawali in Varanasi, directing officials to ensure the festivals are celebrated in a grand manner.
The review meeting was held at the Tourism Directorate, where officials presented detailed plans for the twin events.
The minister emphasised that Deepotsav and Dev Deepawali are not merely religious or cultural festivals but powerful platforms for tourism promotion and local economic growth. He noted that these celebrations boost Uttar Pradesh's brand image nationally as well as internationally, attracting lakhs of visitors and putting Ayodhya and Varanasi on the global tourism map.
