Kolkata, Nov. 19 -- Uttar Pradesh gangster Mohammad Sohrab, who had violated parole following his release from Tihar Jail, was arrested in Kolkata in a joint operation by the Delhi Police and the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF), officials said.

The gangster, accused in multiple criminal cases including murders in UP and other states, was apprehended from a hideout on Ripon Street, under the Park Street police station, where he had reportedly been staying since last night.
