Lucknow, Nov. 27 -- After lagging behind in earlier stage, now the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Uttar Pradesh was picking up and now 48 per cent of the electorates enumeration forms have been digitized so far.

State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Navdeep Rinwa informed here on Thursday that the digitization of enumeration forms under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) is progressing rapidly in the state.

"Till date, digitization of enumeration forms for 7.34 crore (approximately 48 percent) voters in the state has been completed," he said.

There are a total of over 15.44 crore voters of almost 100 per cent enumeration forms have been distributed.
