Lucknow, Oct. 9 -- Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Krishna today issued strict directives to all senior police officers to strengthen the state's Anti-Human Trafficking Units (AHTUs) and ensure swift and effective investigation in cases related to missing children.
According to an official statement, the DGP has instructed all Additional Director Generals (ADGs) of Zones, Police Commissioners, Inspectors General (IGs), Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs), Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) and Superintendents of Police (SPs) to ensure that AHT police stations function exclusively for their designated purpose and are equipped with necessary facilities.
