Lucknow, July 30 -- In a significant step towards combating cybercrime, Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Rajeev Krishna today inaugurated a newly established call center for the National Cyber Crime Helpline Number 1930.
Speaking about the Center, Krishna said that it is operated round-the-clock (24x7), with 94 trained police personnel, ranging from constables to inspectors. A team of 50 dedicated call handlers will be available at all times to assist victims of financial cybercrime and log their complaints online.
Complaints received at the center will be instantly reflected at I4C (Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre), the state Cyber Crime Headquarters, district/city cyber cells, and local police stations. Plans are ...
