Lucknow, Feb. 15 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has taken several comprehensive and effective steps to control communicable diseases over the past nine years.

The state government has effectively tackled serious diseases like dengue, malaria, and AES/JE, strengthening the testing, treatment, and monitoring systems. Additionally, digital surveillance, expansion of laboratories, and prompt treatment have led to a historic reduction in mortality rates.
