Lucknow, Oct. 10 -- Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) is all set to give a rousing welcome to the new state president Ajay Kumar Lalu, who will take the charge replacing Raj Babbar on Friday.
The Congress leaders have prepared a big programme in the state party headquarters to welcome the new president, newly appointed UPCC ( Administration) Sidharth Priya Srivastava confirmed on Thursday.
According to the programme, Mr Lalu is expected to reach the party office at 1000 hrs on Friday and thereafter take the charge of the state party president. "The new present will immediately hold a meeting of the new committee and office-bearers and will later address the party leaders," Mr Srivastava said.
