Lucknow, Oct. 9 -- The Congress party in Uttar Pradesh continues to struggle with the pace of its organizational restructuring.

For the third time, the deadline for forming booth-level committees has been extended. Initially, the party had aimed to complete this task by September 30, but the new deadline is now November 15.

According to party leaders, committees have been formed up to the mandal (cluster) level, with each mandal comprising 15 to 20 booths.

Yesterday, UP in-charge Avinash Pande held a review meeting at the state headquarters with office bearers from the Braj, Bundelkhand, and Western zones.
