Lucknow, Nov. 28 -- The Election Commission in Uttar Pradesh has accelerated the digitisation of enumeration forms under Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and on Friday had completed 56% digitisation.
The details emerged after the Election Commission reviewed the progress of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) programme with the Chief Electoral Officer of Uttar Pradesh, all Divisional Commissioners, and all District Electoral Officers on Friday.
The Commission commended the progress made in digitisation work in the state over the past two days and directed further acceleration to ensure timely completion.
