Lucknow, April 25 -- The Central Government has entrusted a major responsibility to Professor K.V. Raju, Economic Advisor to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Prof. K.V. Raju has been appointed as a full-time member of NITI Aayog.
The appointment was made after approval from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Alongwith Prof. Raju, several experts have been appointed as full-time members of NITI Aayog, effective from the date they assume charge.
Following the Prime Minister's approval, Ashok Kumar Lahiri has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog.
Meanwhile, Rajiv Gauba, Prof. K. V. Raju, Gobardhan Das, Abhay Karandikar, and M. Srinivas have also been appointed as full-time members.
