Gorakhpur, Feb. 15 -- On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath led the ceremonial worship and prayers for public welfare on Sunday.
In his capacity as the Goraksh Peethadheeshwar, he performed Dugdhabhishek-Jalabhishek of Bhagwan Shiva at Shaktipeeth of Gorakhnath Mandir and prayed for healthy, happy, prosperous and peaceful lives for people.
The Chief Minister also worshiped and performed Dugdhabhishek-Jalabhishek at ancient Mansarovar Temple located at Andhiyari Bag and Piteshwar Nath Shiva Temple at Bharohia and prayed for welfare of entire living world.
