Lucknow, Feb. 27 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that salaries be paid to all state employees before Holi.

The Chief Minister has stated that negligence at any level will not be tolerated in light of the festival and that all departments should strictly adhere to the established deadlines.

Along with this, the Chief Minister has also asked to ensure the payment of all categories of employees including outsourcing, contract workers, sanitation workers before the festival, so that no employee has to face financial problems during the festival.

The Chief Minister has declared Saturday, February 28, a working day. Meanwhile, employees will be given a 3-days holiday on March 2, 3 and 4 for Holi.
