Lucknow, Oct. 29 -- The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Uttar Pradesh, Navdeep Rinwa, today met with officials of recognised national and state political parties regarding the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the state's voter list. Rinwa called for their cooperation to ensure a "clean voter list," which he termed the foundation for a strong democracy.
