Lucknow, Feb. 12 -- The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved the construction of a four-lane Chitrakoot Link Expressway and cleared the establishment of a major bioplastics manufacturing unit in Lakhimpur Kheri district.
The decisions were taken during a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday.
According to sources on Thursday, the Cabinet approved the final Request for Proposal (RFP) document for selecting a developer to implement the 4-lane (expandable to 6-lane) access-controlled greenfield Chitrakoot Link Expressway project under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode.
