Lucknow, Dec. 20 -- Preparations have begun in Lucknow for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's programme on December 25. A meeting was held at the BJP headquarters on Saturday to finalize the details of the programme.
BJP sources said around one lakh party workers are expected to attend the event.
The BJP has intensified preparations for the PM's rally, scheduled for December 25 at the Rashtra Prerna Sthal, on the occasion of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's birth anniversary.
A meeting of party office-bearers was held at the BJP state headquarters on Saturday in the presence of union minister and BJP president JP Nadda, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and newly elected state party president Pankaj Chaudhary.
