Lucknow, Nov. 24 -- The department of Basic Education in Uttar Pradesh has intensified its push to give every child a strong start in learning, rolling out a statewide School Readiness Movement to prepare children between 5 and 6 years in co-located Anganwadi (Balvatika) centres for a confident transition into Grade 1.
The movement ties into the state's larger goal of ensuring full education access and strong early learning for every child. According to department officials, the priority is simple that every child must begin primary school with readiness.
