Lucknow, Dec. 19 -- A condolence motion was passed in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly on the demise of Samajwadi Party sitting MLA Sudhakar Singh, on the opening day of the winter session on Friday.
The House observed a two-minute silence to pay tribute to him. Following this, the proceedings of the House were adjourned until Monday.
On this occasion, the leader of the opposition and Samajwadi Party leader in the House, Mata Prasad Pandey, said that Sudhakar Singh was a popular and efficient public representative.
