Lucknow, Feb. 14 -- Praising the development in Uttar Pradesh, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Friday said that the state is no longer a 'BIMARU' state but has become one of the leading contributors to India's economy.

While addressing the inauguration and foundation stone laying programme of various development works worth Rs 1,028 crore organized in Lucknow, the Union Minister said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has successfully worked towards establishing 'Ram Rajya' in UP.

He said, "Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, India aims to become a global leader and a 5 trillion dollar economy, with UP playing a crucial role in achieving this target."
