Lucknow, April 1 -- The Uttar Pradesh-Agriculture Growth and Rural Enterprises Ecosystem Strengthening (UP-AGREES) Scheme being run with the help of the World Bank is all set to revolutionise agriculture and will also promote tourism in the Vindhya region like Kashi and Prayagraj, official sources said here on Tuesday.

Sources said that acting on the recommendations of NITI Aayog, the government is gearing up to develop the Varanasi and Vindhya region along the lines of the Kashi-Prayagraj Dharma Kshetra and the State Capital Region (SCR).
