Hathras (UP), April 27 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday criticised the Congress for indulging in vote bank politics and said that under their governance while farmers faced distress leading to suicides the corrupt individuals thrived.

Addressing a public meeting in support of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Anup Pradhan Valmiki in Hathras at Sikandrarau, the Chief Minister said, "The interests of the poor, farmers, women, and youth were neglected by the Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Congress.
