Shahjahanpur (UP), May 25 -- An 18-year-old youth was shot dead by his cousin allegedly over petty issues in Nigohi area of Shahjahanpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here on Sunday. Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Devendra Kumar said that Pradeep, a resident of Ratti village, used to work in Noida. "He had come to his home a few days ago. On Saturday, while Pradeep was standing outside his house, he was shot by his cousin Sarthak with a licensed rifle," he said.He said that Pradeep died on the spot due to the bullet injury.
