Jaunpur (UP), May 2 -- A youth was sentenced to life imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 50,000 by a local court on Friday in a rape case in Jaunpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, prosecution sources said here.
Prosecution sources said that on November 5, 2020, a person living in Sujanganj area lodged a case accused Rahul Kumar Yadav lured and kidnapped his 16-year-old minor daughter and raped her several times. "The accused was arrested and sentenced to 20 years rigorous imprisonment by the court," they said
Prosecution sources said that Rahul was later released on bail in that case. "As soon as he was released on bail, the accused raped another minor girl," they said.
