Sambhal (UP), May 9 -- A youth who posted in support of social media was arrested by the police and sent to jail in Sambhal district here in Uttar Pradesh, a senior officer said here on Friday.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Krishna Kumar Bishnoi said that during cyber patrolling under Bahjoi police station, a post of Riyaz, a resident of Qureshiyan locality, came to light, in which he posted that no matter what happens, we will support Pakistan.
"On getting information about the post, the police immediately took Riyaz into custody," he said.
He said that during interrogation, Riyaz told that he had received the post from a person named Palestine Moye and posted it later. "Riyaz has done this act intentionally and has been sent to jail,"...
