Firozabad (UP), May 21 -- Two persons were sentenced to life imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 2,10,500 by a special court on Wednesday here in connection with the murder of two youths in Fariha area of Firozabad district here in Uttar Pradesh over 11 years back, prosecution sources said here.
The sources said the incident took place on October 3, 2013 in Kodar village under Fariha police station, when the villagers mistook two youths Nane Khan and Surendra as cattle thieves and thrashed them. "Both the youths died due to the beating. Later, the bodies were thrown in the drain, which were recovered by the police," they said.
