Ayodhya, Feb. 3 -- Two wanted criminals carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh each and absconding for nearly a decade were finally arrested by the Noida unit of the Special Task Force (STF) with the help of Bikapur Kotwali police in Ayodhya, police said today.
The arrested men, identified as Mohammad Naseeb and Mohammad Haseeb, are real brothers and residents of Raipur Vichpuri village under Sehramau North police station in Pilibhit district. Both were wanted in several serious criminal cases, including murder and robbery.
According to police officials, a case was registered against the two in 2016 at Bikapur Kotwali in connection with murder, robbery, and destruction of evidence. Since then, they had been on the run, evading arrest for years.
