Bareilly, Jan. 7 -- The sleuths of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Unit Bareilly on Wednesday claimed to have arrested three active inter-state drug traffickers involved in narcotics smuggling.

The arrests were made near Hurhuri turn on Rampur Highway, under Police Station Meerganj of Bareilly district on Tuesday.

The arrested accused have been identified as Omendra, Manoj and Shakir.

During the operation, the police recovered 52.500 kilograms of Acetic Anhydride (a chemical used in the manufacture of heroin), 640 grams of illegal smack/heroin valued at approximately Rs 1.43 crore, three mobile phones, one Innova car, and Rs 1,03,520 in cash from their possession.
