Amethi (UP), Sept. 3 -- Three persons were today killed when a car collided with a truck on Purvanchal Expressway in the Bazar Shukla area of Amethi district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here.
Police sources reported that the accident occurred in the morning at kilometre 60.1 of the Bazar Shukla police station area on the Purvanchal Expressway, where the car collided with a truck heading towards Lucknow.
"Three persons, including the driver, died in the accident. Police reached the spot on information and started rescue work. Police have started further legal proceedings," they said.
