Lucknow, Aug. 17 -- Chaos broke out in the Telibagh market area on Saturday late night after a speeding white Scorpio, reportedly reversing recklessly, rammed into more than ten people standing near a temple. The vehicle bore a BJP flag, and the incident took place amidst Janmashtami celebrations, when the area was crowded.
Locals immediately surrounded the vehicle and caught hold of the driver, identified as Samar Singh, alias Akshay Singh, a resident of Hussain Ganj. Police from PGI station reached the spot promptly and rushed the injured to the hospital.
