Lucknow, Feb. 12 -- A six-year-old boy was killed and six others were injured after a speeding car rammed into people and vehicles standing along the roadside in the Banthra police station area of Lucknow today evening.
The driver fled the scene with the vehicle following the incident.
The accident occurred around 7 pm near Hanuman Temple on Kanpur Road. According to reports, Pramod Kumar, a resident of Sahijanpur in Banthra, had parked his motorcycle by the roadside and gone to a nearby shop when a speeding car travelling from Lucknow towards Kanpur lost control and hit his bike.
After colliding with the motorcycle, the car continued in an uncontrolled manner and struck 12-year-old Armaan, son of Pape alias Pauwa, a resident of Banthra....
