Sonbhadra (UP), Dec. 5 -- A first year student of Government Polytechnic College located hanged himself and committed suicide in his hostel room after losing money in online gaming and cricket betting in Robertsganj area of Sonbhadra district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said.
Circle Officer Randhir Mishra said that Yuvraj Singh (22), a resident of Jai Prakash Nagar, Ballia, a first-year student of Government Polytechnic College, located in Lodi, committed suicide by hanging himself in his hostel room.
