Sonbhadra, Aug. 8 -- A Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) jawan was found dead under distressing circumstances today at the force's camp in Amwar under Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh, officials said.
He was suspected to have committed suicide.
The deceased has been identified as Sandeep Singh (26), a resident of Alampur Post under Garwar police station in Ballia district. He was serving in the 39th Battalion, G Company, Mirzapur. Sandeep had returned to the Amwar PAC camp after completing official duty in Varanasi on August 5.
