Varanasi, Feb. 15 -- These days, the wedding celebrations of the Supreme God Mahadev are resonating in every nook and corner of Kashi.
On Saturday, as a major wedding ritual, Baba Vishwanath and Mata Gauri were applied mehndi.
As per tradition, a decorated plate of mehndi was sent from the Mahant's residence in Tedhinim to Baba's in-laws' home in Sarangnath, where the women from the in-laws' side offered turmeric and accepted the mehndi. With this auspicious ritual, the entire Kashi was filled with auspiciousness.
