Kushinagar (UP), Dec. 4 -- A man was sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 5 lakh by a special court in Kushinagar here in Uttar Pradesh for sexually assaulting a three-year-old girl, prosecution sources said.
Prosecution sources said that the court of Additional Sessions Judge Dinesh Kumar said that the accused, Satyendra, a resident of Madar Vindavaliya Tola, Khapardhikka, cannot be allowed to live in a civilized society. "If given the opportunity, he will again target another innocent victim," it said.
